God’s Glorious Vision for the Church

Ephesians 2:11-22 We must know who we were and what we have become to live out God’s vision for the church Three contrasts that reveal God’s glorious vision for the church (1) No longer alienation but nearness  (11-13) (2) No longer division and hostility but unity and peace (14-18) (3) No longer “not a people” but God’s people (19-22)

Saved by Grace

We deserved God’s wrath but we were made trophies of grace so we might live a life God has called us to live. This passage answers three necessary questions to properly understand salvation: 1. What were we apart from Christ? Spiritually Dead (1-3) 2. What are we with Christ Spiritually Alive (4-7) 3. What was it all for? God’s Glory (8-10)

Why I Love The Church

What makes the church so special? 1) I love the church because Jesus loves the church. 2) I love the church because the church loves one another. 3) I love the church because Jesus loves the church so much He entrusted it with exceptional privileges and responsibilities.
