We would love to have you come and visit us on a Sunday. We know that it can be a little unnerving to come and be part of something new. Thus, whether you come from a church background or not– here’s an explanation of what we’re about at Emmaus.

Service Times and Location

Sunday Morning at 9:00 we have Sunday School for children and adults. There is also a nursery provided for infants and toddlers.

Sunday Morning at 10:15 we have our main gathering of the week. Here we pray, hear God’s word read and preached, and sing together. We are dedicated to expository preaching, and to offering clear, practical and straight-forward personal application of the scriptures.

Sunday Evening at 6:00 we have a time of prayer, song, and teaching. This time is a compliment to our morning service and focuses on our life together as a church family. It is common for people to stay around and talk together well after the service wraps up at 7.

When Emmaus gathers, it is a family environment; there are a lot of children. You and your children should feel welcome. In effort to serve you and others, there is a nursery available during on Sunday morning for infants through toddlers during all of our services, as well as an age-appropriate class for children up to age 5 during the preaching. (We will let you know when the children are dismissed for their class.)

The parking lot to the east and the streets around the building tend to fill up fast. We are thankful for a great relationship with South High School as they allow us to park in their large lot to the North. (see our map and directions page for more info)
